Achievements in year 2007-08

1. Organization of Shaheedi Samagam in memory Bhai Jinda-Sukha,June Ghallughara and other Singhs

2. SFA had a meeting with the team of the movie 'Singh is Kinng' on 1 December 2007. Issue of the Turban was raised as the hero in the movie was wearing a fake turban or a 'Topi'.Sikh Federation Senior Members-Ajit Singh South Australia,Gurbax Singh Bains,Sarvarinder Singh Roomi And Harkirat Singh Ajnoha told them about the importance of the turban. This resulted in Akshay Kumar wearing a Real turban afterwards.Sikh Federation of Australia organised a Gursikh boy who used to tie turban on head of Akshay.
